Goals
Scenario – you want to understand the value of your website
- Log into Analytics an head over to Admin
- Select Goals under your view
- Select New Goal
- In Goal Setup we’re going to choose custom for an event based goal, you can do the same for a url based goal such as a thank you page
- In our Goal Details we’re going to set it to register a goal is complete when the event category Download and action is Brochure is triggered
- Click Verify to ensure that your goal will produce some date and is configured correctly
- Hit save and you’re ready to start reporting!
